Honestly, I resisted doing this for a long time, but I figured that, as I was finishing up the first full-length novel in the series, that it made sense to finally get a real cover for my first novella, The Hyacinth Rescue.
Here's what the new cover looks like!
This was the first novella I wrote and self-published, all the way back in 2013. The characters I created for this novella returned in Missed Contact and my new novel, Pursuit of the Heliotrope!
Honestly, it's way better than my very rough hand-drawn pencil sketch, though perhaps not quite as accurate to my vision of how ships look in my universe.
Even after all these years, I still think The Hyacinth Rescue is a really fun little story, with a neat twist at the end.
